Saturday was spent sleeping most of the time, then actually WRITING ON THE RESEARCH PAPER!!! During the day I was only able to get small sections of it worked on because the FUCKING HEADACHE was still pounding away between my poor eyes.
I was just not hungry all day but knew I had to finally eat at some point because eating CAN relieve some of the headache pain. Sometimes, not eating causes headaches for me, but this was not a lack-of-food headache. This is the one that's been pestering me since last Sunday. So I pulled out the mandarin chicken salad rat had gotten me Thursday (they keep well, too) out of the refrigerator and watch some CN while eating.
Saturday night, about 8pm, I suddenly broke out in this cold sweat on my forehead. For the next half-hour the sweat progressed along my arms and legs and down my body and I was a lot cooler. Slowly the headache started to disapate and moved to the back of my neck. I still have a headache but it is now a dull roar, not the blinding pain it has been the past full week. I can live with headaches that are dull roars.
I went into the bedroom and worked on the research paper until about 12:30am, when I sent rat a text message to come home. He called me right back, saying he was in the process of saying goodbye and would be leaving shortly. I stayed up waiting for him so he could call me periodically on the road, which he did at various intervals agreed on during the prior call. He got home about 3:30am, which means he cut an hour off the usual time (3 & a half to 4 hours one-way) by speeding along at 80 mph most of the way. He says he passed by many cops but none pulled him over, thankfully!
Anyway, I got up about 9am on Sunday and woke him up about 11am. We both wilted in the afternoon and napped from about 4pm until about 7pm.
rat finished FF1 and has begun FF2. Right now he is just running around a few areas, killing things to accumulate gold so he can buy stuff to outfit his party with better armour and weapons.
I finished getting all the corrections into the research paper AND integrated the translation charts into the body of the paper. Yay! I also added some info to the notes, like about Maki Murakami, Crocodile Ave. and the Remix doujin. I added the "Help" doujin and the Remix doujin to the Sources Cited and still need to add the Remix scanlation website sources and the Remix compilations to it.
Now I have a few brand-new sections to write about - one specifically being the timeline of the manga, OVAs, TV series, etc. from the second Art Book. I will be taking craptop-ni to the office this week.
I do not know if I will have time for the Powerpoint presentation, especially since my scanner is acting up. It says it needs new drivers, which is silly because nothing has changed with any settings lately. I may have to take some shots of the books with the digital camera at the office instead of scanning them there. I need to see exactly what official artworks I have saved on my hard drive and use them if they are decent enough images.
I need to go out and do some Xmas shopping - blegh.
Thanks: --> to Lia, my sensei, who has inspired me to draw again. I
wouldn't be doing this without your support, Domo Arigato!
--> to Talon, for sending me her fabulous fics, inspiring me with her writing to draw my first
illustration for a story and actually liking what I drew.
--> to Dasia, for her words of encouragement when drawing her original chara.
--> to Joules, a wonderful epic fic writer, for liking my art enough to want to post them with Talon's
and her own stories.
--> to Lutra, the other half of the epic team, for being so supportive.
--> to Jacque' & Becca Raddittzu, we met on eBay as bidder and sellers and now we are face-to-face
friends. You showed us the real DBZ with your fansubs. It's all your fault the house is full of
doujinshi! *LOL*
